Tips for picking raspberries
- A ripe raspberry slides off its core with a light pull. If you have to tug, it is not ready.
- Raspberries are the most fragile U-pick fruit. Use small, shallow containers and eat or freeze them within two days.
- Ask the farm whether it grows fall raspberries. They give you a second season.
